Delegation of the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska visited construction site of Banja Luka – Doboj motorway, section Prnjavor – Doboj on July 07th, 2016. The delegation was led by Mr. Nedeljko Čubrilović, president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and delegation included Mr. Neđo Trninić, Minister of Transport and Communications and Mr. Dušan Topić, director of PC “The Republic of Srpska Motorways”.
After visiting the construction site, Mr. Nedeljko Čubrilović, president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska said that this section was one of the most important ones in the road network of the Republic of Srpska.
Minister Trninić expressed his satisfaction on progress of executed works on part of motorway from Prnjavor to Doboj. We are expecting an official opening of this section for traffic. He stated that 70% of section 36 km long was laid with final layer of asphalt and that placing of protective fences and safety barriers, as well as noise barriers was in progress.
Mr. Topić said that the second phase of motorway construction from Prnjavor to Banjaluka was in progress parallel to abovementioned section and that approximately 50% of works were completed in less than two years. He stated that the full scope and significance of executed works would be seen at the end of 2017 when we expected opening of both sections of Banjaluka – Doboj motorway.
The Engineer of construction of Banjaluka – Doboj motorway, section Prnjavor – Doboj is consortium consisted of “IRD Engineering“ (Italy) and “Eptisa“ (Spain).
