About the project:

The section of the expressway Okučani – the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina / 3^rd phase is an integral part of the European interconecting road E-661 connecting Split with Banja Luka, Virovitica and Balaton.

The construction of this section of the expressway is a continuation of the 1^st and 2^nd phases of the construction of the expressway on the section of the border – Okučani, which will ensure the connection of the Gradiška – Banja Luka motorway with the Zagreb – Belgrade motorway. Upon the completion of the works, this road unit will enable faster movement of people and goods, will enable smooth and efficient work of the control authorities, and will enable normal life and activities in the now overburdened Gradiška.  

The beginning of the 3.7 km route is on the state road DC5 – the location of the Okučani toll station, and it ends just before the “Novi Varoš” intersection (2^nd phase).There are two objects on the route of the expressway: the overpass “Voloder” and the animal crossing object “Kućišta”.

Content of works:

• construction of a section of the expressway (two separate two-lane carriageways) with a length of L = 3.7 km;
• construction of an intersection at the intersection of the expressway and state road DC5, 
• construction of the “Woloder” road crossing, 
• construction of the passage for animals “Kušišta” 
• construction of the “Woloder” overpass,
• installation of traffic signals and equipment;
• installation of lighting;• landscaping and noise protection.
