General information on the project:
The works on construction of road connecting the main road M16 Banja Luka – Gradiška with the motorway E661 Gradiška – Banja Luka, on the route Brestovčina – Čatrnja, began in October 2014 and have not been completed yet. NOTE: The construction works were contracted to the other construction company. In the meantime, the border crossing point and the new customs terminal on the motorway were constructed, while at the beginning of 2022, the works on the construction of the bridge over the Sava River are expected to be completed. The construction of a connecting road (bypass) around Gradiška will relieve the traffic through Gradiška and settlements in the municipality, while a new development belt and area for the expansion of the city will be formed.
Scope of works:
- construction of section of main road in total length of 5.15 km, with complete dewatering system;
- construction of roundabout;
- construction of bicycle path in total length of 3.95 km and
- installation of traffic signalization and equipment on the whole section.
