About the Projects:
Motorway Banja Luka – Gradiška is located on the European route E 661, which, asan integral part of the inter-European road system, connects central Bosnia and Herzegovina with Zagreb – Belgrade motorway, and with Hungary (Lake Balaton). The project was divided into three lots (contracts). After being completed, the motorway has become important factor of local and regional economic development.It will reach its full capacity after the construction of the new bridge over the River Sava (border line between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina).
The Project included construction of:
- 33,7 km of motorway (from the Sava River to Klašnice);
- 13 overbridges, 3 underbridges and 2 viaducts;
- 4 tunnels (2 x L = 380,0 m; 2 x L = 430,0 m);
- 3 intersections (Čatrnja, Berek, Mahovljani) with lightening;
- 2 lendings (Lužani P = 66.000,0 m2; Romanovci P = 42.000,0 m2);
- 67 culverts for rainwater;
- 71 km concrete drainage channels for collecting and channelling of rainwater;
- 30 km of sewers for rainwater (pipeline);
- 17 water treatment plants i.e. degreasing of rainwater that is collected on the motorway;
- 15 km of asphald paved and 30 km of macadam local roads.
