Favorable weather conditions enabled the continuation of intensive works on the construction of the bridge over the Trebišnjica River, which will be the largest structure on the future eastern bypass around Trebinje and at the same time the largest bridge in the city.
The bridge with a total length of L=484.00 m has 13 spans with a length of 26.00 m + 4×36.00 m + 2×54.00 m + 5×36.00 m + 26.00 m. The span construction of the box type cross-section is performed using scaffolding technology.
So far it has been performed:
- all basic rates (14);
- all abutments (2);
- all column bodies with heads (12);
- 5 spans of the span construction in the length of L=190.00 m.
In the following period, construction of the span structure (7 spans) of the bridge will be carried out. Currently, the last of the five (5) heavy tubular scaffolding towers with a height of H=24.00 m each is being assembled. The towers serve to support the sixth (6th) span of the span structure, which is the longest in the bridge construction (L=54.00 m) and which bridges the Trebišnjica river. In parallel with these works, the installation of roro grids, which rest on heavy tubular scaffolding towers, is in progress, followed by the installation of the formwork of the bottom plate and the walls of the sixth (6th) span of the span structure.
