According to the planned work schedule, the main structures on the Banjaluka – Doboj motorway, section Banjaluka – Prnjavor (l=35.5 km) are constructed during the last two years which have passed from the beginning of Project.
The construction of two viaducts and one bridge is completed. The first viaduct is “Mahovljani” viaduct which connects Banjaluka – Doboj motorway with already constructed Gradiška – Banjaluka motorway (E 661). Its length is 400 m and it crosses over the main road M-16, Banjaluka – Gradiška. The second viaduct is “Laktaši 2” viaduct of length of 450 m, which structure passes over the regional road Laktaši – Razboj.
The construction of the whole structure of bridge over the Vrbas river is completed in September. This structure consists of two bridges in length of 340 m each, which, with their 10 spans (26m+8x36m + 26 m), carried the motorway over the Vrbas river.
The rail guard, waterproof and asphalt layers will be placed on these structures in the following period.
On November 23, 2016, Mr. Neđo Trninić, the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Government of the Republic of Srpska and Mr. Dušan Topić, the director of Public Enterprise “Republic of Srpska Motorways” visited the construction site of the abovementioned structures and expressed their satisfaction with work schedule and quality of executed works.
