Intensive works on the construction of indoor Olympic swimming pool in Trebinje

Sep 15, 2020

The entire structure of the indoor Olympic swimming pool in Trebinje is closed, including the installation of the roof covering. Internal works on tiling, as well as painting works are in progress, and in the following period, the installation of electrical, telecommunication and sports-measuring equipment will be performed, as well as the general furnishing of the interior of this impressive building. In the final phase, the landscpaing will be performed.

The works, the execution of which is planned and contracted in several phases, are carried out in accordance with the general time schedule, technical regulations, the foreseen work technology and the rules of profession.

After a storm in February 2019 took away the roof from the building under construction, and slowed down the works, the company Integral inženjering redesigned and built a new roof structure that now weighs about 120 tons.

We would like to remind you that this is a building measuring 107.00 m x 54.25 m and having basement, ground and first floor. This complex contains two swimming pools on the ground floor: a larger one with dimensions of 50×25 m, of depth of 2.2 m, a swimming pool of dimensions of 25×10 m, of depth of 2.2 m, and a compensation pool, as well as other accompanying facilities (locker rooms, gym, cloakroom, rooms for judges and delegates, conference hall, restaurant, toilets, sauna, indoor/underground garages and outdoor/above-ground parking lot).

The total usable area of the building is 10,000.00 m2.

The contractor is a consortium of companies “Integral inženjering“ a.d. (PLC) Laktaši – “Integra inženjering“ d.o.o. (LLC) Banja Luka – Herc Gradnja d.o.o. (LLC) Bileća.
