The laying of three asphalt layers of thickness of 20 cm is foreseen according to the design solution of pavemet structure of main alignment as it follows:
- two layers of bituminous bearing course BNS 22sA (d=2x8cm);
- wearing course made of stone mastic asphalt SMA 11s (d=4cm).
The pavement structure of bridges in substructure of main alignment is constructed of two layers of asphalt of total thickness of 8 cm as it follows:
- protective layer of waterproofing, i.e. levelling course made of asphalt concrete AB11 (d=4cm);
- wearing course made of stone mastic asphalt SMA 11s (d=4cm).
The asphalt laying on the main alignment started on October 12, 2017 with laying of first bearing course BNS 22sA. The asphalt laying on bridges started on September 19, 2017 with laying of protective layer of waterproofing, i.e. levelling course AB11.
Until the end of October 31, 2017, 7,800 tons of asphalt is laid on motorway alignment (asphalt is laid on right and left lane in total length of 2.5 km), while 2,140 tons of asphalt is laid on concrete structures of bridges (asphalt is laid on total of 17,800 m2 of bridges).
The remaining asphalt laying of the first layer of BNS and the complete second layer of BNS on the main alignment, as well as the remaining levelling course on bridges is foreseen to be finished until the end of 2017.
The wearing course SMA 11s (4cm) will be laid in 2018 after fulfillment of all necessary requirements and required technical solutions.
Integral Inženjering put into operation the new asphalt plant of the renown manufacturer “Ammann“ (Switzerland) in the territory of the municipality of Vladičin Han on October 23, 2017. The value of this plant is 1.5 million euros. It is a modern production line whose technology fulfills all ecological standards and requirements, both in the Republic of Serbia and in the European Union. In addition to the integrated management system, this plant also owns its own asphalt quality control laboratory.
After completion of work execution on the current project, the asphalt plant, as well as the previously installed concrete plant, will continue to produce material for the needs of local market and between 50 and 100 workers will be engaged to work on these plants.
