After the first twelve months of project beginning, we can say with pleasure that the works on construction of motorway Banja Luka – Doboj, section Banja Luka – Prnjavor are in progress according to the work schedule. It is about the motorway section of length of 35.3 km on which there will be constructed 52 structures, i.e. there will be constructed 20 bridges, 18 overpasses, 7 viaducts, 6 underpasses and one tunnel.
The preliminary earthworks are intensively carried out and the filling on the whole section is performed.
The bridge of length of 340 m is constructed over the Vrbas river. This is the most complex structure on the motorway Banja Luka – Prnjavor and it is located on third kilometre of the motorway. The works are carried out from the left to the right side of riverbank with incremental launching method. After completion of bridge construction, the bridge will have two separate traffic lanes.
The works on construction of the viaduct “Mahovljani” of length of 400 m and viaduct “Laktaši 2” of length of 450 m which are at the beginning of motorway alignment are in progress.
The Engineer is JV “Krebs + Kiefer Eastern Europe GmbH” (Germany) and H.P. “Gauf Ingenieure – JBG” (Germany).
