Feb 14, 2020

The project of construction of new Municipal Court building and reconstraction of existing Cantonal Court and Prosecutors Office building in Tuzla is part of the European Union assistance package for the construction, reconstruction and modernization of courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina within support to strengthening the rule of law. Governments of the Kingdom of Norway and the Tuzla Canton also participated in the financing of the project.

The consortium of “Integral inženjering“ a.d. (PLC) (a leading member of the consortium) and “Integra inženjering“ d.o.o. (LLC) concluded a contract with the European Union, represented by the European Commission, and successfully completed the contracted works in the period from March 2, 2018 until Decemebr 31, 2019.

The building of the Municipal and Cantonal Courts and Prosecutors Offices in the center of Tuzla was built in 1962. The reconstruction works were carried out without interruption of the work of these institutions. Construction works on the Tuzla Municipal Court required the removal of an earlier building from the location, followed by the construction and equipping of a brand new building.

Compared to the previous period, the Municipal and Cantonal Courts and the Tuzla Cantonal Prosecutors Office now have much better working conditions. The space is constructed, decorated and equipped in accordance with the best European standards in the field of justice.

The project is the second one that consortium of “Integral inženjering“ a.d. (PLC) and “Integra inženjering“ d.o.o. (LLC) have realized  with the European Union, represented by the European Commission, in the field of EU assistance packages for the construction, reconstruction and modernization of courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a support to strengthening the rule of law in the country. We would like to stress out that the first project of this kind the Consortium realized in Banja Luka in 2017.
