The Rača – Bijeljina section is part of the future Belgrade – Sarajevo and Rača – Bijeljina – Brčko – Vukosavlje motorways. It continues from the Kuzmin – Sremska Rača section and its Sava River bridge, and will connect to the future Bijeljina – Brčko section.
Integral inženjering is designing and building the section under a FIDIC Yellow Book contract. The scope also includes:- Bijeljina North interchange and two toll stations
- maintenance base and rest area
- drainage and river regulation works
- noise protection, lighting and a modern traffic management system
Once completed, the section will relieve Bijeljina and nearby settlements of transit traffic, speed up border crossings and support economic development in the region.
